He was troubled but I still think his decision was reasonable considering his diagnosis.

@Blindbird Given how he struggled for so long, with so much, I think getting that diagnosis was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I watched an interview with his friend, Billy Connolly. Connolly, an actor and comic (who is utterly brilliant in his own right), also has Parkinson's. He said that Robin called him after getting his diagnosis. He said Robin was struggling to wrap his head around what having Parkinson's was going to mean for the rest of his life. I really think that the thought of dealing with such a debilitating disease, on top of working to stay sober, and battling his other mental health issues, was just too much for him to take.
