I've not been creative lately so I'm attempting to motivate. Here are some of my problems! Can you relate????

When I look at others work, I see things I like.
But when I look at my work, it’s different and crazy, and I like it too.

I’d try to take this in stride. Research pictures of others work. Try a new craft. Allow yourself the break.

That's a recipe for misery for anyone - artist or not.

  1. Nope
  2. I don’t talk to my family.
  3. My career was over long ago. It did incorporate creativity, but not original artwork by me.
  4. NEVER stick with what you know. Do not do ANYTHING because that is the way you have always done it. Improvise, explore, experiment, learn/do something new.
  5. “Expertise” limits one.
  6. If it is about the money, it is not what is really important.
  7. Done with that.
  8. Only do work that YOU love.
  9. Do art for yourself. If you take a commission, let it be only that you will create an original piece for the client; do not allow the client to dictate anything about the piece, except perhaps size.
  10. Resolve only to work every day.

Depends on your expected end value . If you plan to make a living from your artistic talents , or if it's a hobby only for your own pleasure .

All of the above (at one time or another).

Number 5 is my issue 😐
