BRISTOL, Tenn. – A man who police say was run over with a lawn mower while trying to kill his son with a chain saw has had to have his leg amputated. The Bristol Herald Courier reports that a warrant for 76-year-old Douglas Ferguson couldn’t be served until Tuesday because of the severity of his injuries. According to a Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office release, officers called to a home June 28 found Ferguson bleeding from his leg and head. A preliminary investigation indicated he had tried to attack his son with a running chain saw while he son mowed the yard. Detectives say the father and son had an ongoing feud. Ferguson is charged with attempted second-degree murder and violating probation. It’s unclear whether he has a lawyer to comment on his behalf. TRADEMARK AND COPYRIGHT 2018 THE ASSOCIATED PRESS. So far, my experience weed does not give me the munchies. I will eat if food is near, (I kinda do that all the time anyway) but I won't seek out food, for which I'm very thankful :) as I'm trying very hard to get rid of the excess and don't want to cut back on that too.

I have trouble when asked for favorites, and I also have trouble remembering who did what in music. My response would be, "Oh, they did that, yeah I like that song..." I know, I'm "different" that way.

@FrayedBear I am glad you had a good experience. I know me, and I know what I want, and it isn't NSA or FWB. I've been single for 9 years or so, I miss the physical, but I miss the emotional more. I can deal with the physical quite well, and If I want coffee or cognac I can do that too. But without the emotional connection I'm not going to settle.

@FrayedBear I don't get excited by much younger men, except as eye or arm candy. I want someone for the long term that can be part of the family. I'm sure if I dated a guy around the ages of my daughters there'd be some awkwardness and irritation. I like keeping things on an even keel with my kids, they will be taking care of me in my old age.

Don't Be Ashamed of Your Story
ShuMei2018 comments on Oct 6, 2018:
I am a survivor of both child abuse and torture. I have also been sexually assaulted in my adult life more than once. I guess the shaming begins now.
HippieChick58 replies on Oct 6, 2018:
Never ever shaming. You are a survivor and to be admired for coming through. I would never shame anyone for something outside their control. When I was a child I was abused. As children do I blamed myself. When I had my own daughter and she reached the age that I was when I was abused, I realized that little girl that I was had no idea what was really happening, and no control over what happened. The adults in her life failed her. That liberated me. I was able to forgive myself, and it was the healing that I needed. Please take this to heart, you were and are a victim, and a survivor. You have my total support and total acceptance.

@Sheannutt I am the same way. I drink water all day long, coffee rarely (but am doing research on health benefits, may add that back in), tea off and on and wine sometimes but pretty rarely. Even more rarely I will have hard liquors in a mixed drink, but not often, I live alone, I'm the designated driver, and I no longer have any tolerance for booze.
