As long as the workers keep working, what is the incentive for the government to actually them? It is slavery, although they may be paid retroactively. I'm glad the workers filed suit. Trump has acted abominably, and I I hope he loses his standoff.

I have an idea, lets give government more control over everything. So this can happen in every aspect of our life. /sarcasm /rolls eyes

Good for them! I agree with the Federal workers. It's time to show Trump that he cannot do anything that he wants to do. So many claim how hard he has fought the Democrats in the last 2 years but they forget that Democrats only came back into power January 3rd, 2019. With 2 years in office Trump only fought himself and his own GOP.

I hope they sue his ass off, and get back-pay.

Why do they show up? I guess they are scared of getting fired. They should all work to rule. How much work is being done by unpaid workers? I'd use up my sick days.Isn't this slavery?

Do you blame them? It is hard to get me to work for $25/hr. I don't work for free...

Looking at it from the angle of servitude, perhaps Donald Trump wishes to restore the Confederacy?
