$3G 'Jesus Shoes' filled with holy water sell out within minutes.

Brooklyn-based creative label MSCHF released the shoe, which is a pair of all-white Nike Air Max 97s that have been injected with holy water sourced from the Jordan River.

A limited-edition sneaker, which is filled with holy water in the soles and blessed by a priest, sold out within minutes of its debut, despite each pair costing a whopping $3,000.

Fantastic! Just what we need.

Just imagine the holy water derivatives that could be on the market.

Better than snake oil because they don’t have to do anything!

Ah ha, so the real SECRET is out then, Jeebus Crust actually wore a similar kind of sandal when he did his 'walking on water' stunt.

Now all we need is to find out the 'water into wine' secret and then we can have a worldwide free piss up....LOL.

So, what Jesus supposedly did back in the day was no big deal, because now we can all walk on water.

As bad as scammers

I can think of a quote by PT Barnum.

Damn, now that is inventive bullshit. Shouldn't Nike be claiming a percent or busting on their asses.

The charlatans are laughing all the way to the bank.

It works every time because there are suckers born every minutes somewhere.

@St-Sinner It never ceases to amaze me the lengths (and expense) people will go to deny their finitude.

I came to the U.S. from a 3rd world country and was pretty distraught about the religious stupidity, atrocities, hatred and overall fooling by religion of people all around. When I arrived, I remember watching in shock and awe how people were giving money to Jimmy and Tammy Fay-Baker because he was telling them how God's church will not be built if the followers did not help. Old people living on limited fixed income gave money. I remember how both used to cry on TV every day and how Jimmy Swaggart cried on TV with their followers crying with them.

We only have advanced technology, defense and more money but the stupidity is very common. The scammers know it very well and they did not have to go to college to learn that.
