I just got the results of the first mammogram I have had in about 20 years. No cancer but, as in every mammogram that I have had, the results said I have dense breasts.
I cannot understand why they are so dense; they have attended every class I have taken, including those in the MA program where I carried a 4.0 GPA. Why can't my breasts get with the program???

I must not something inappropriate. I must not something inappropriate. I must not something inappropriate. I must not something inappropriate. I must not something inappropriate. I must not something inappropriate.....

Your restraint is admirable and I stand in awe of your ability not to comment!

However, the strain seems to have affected your writing ability--did you mean "not SAY something"?

Well brains are pretty lumpy so maybe it's good your breasts didn't absorb all that book learning and are remaining lump free!

I never thought of it that way! You are right!

Glad you are healthy.

Hint. You don't think with your breasts anyway, I know that a lot of men think with their testicles, but the reverse does not apply.

NO comment!

Thanks for a good laugh, that made my day šŸ™‚

Good! That was my intent!

They may have been too distracted by each other to pay attention. Breasts are know to be very distracting things šŸ˜

Hmmm . . . now that never occurred to me.

They are always ahead of you?

Only physically.

@Gwendolyn2018 I tried.

Dense also means lest sag

Well, no!

That would be firm! šŸ˜‚

@Gwendolyn2018 Or less sag my experience doing years of exams

@bobwjr tsk--you can't lump all women together, dear heart.

@Gwendolyn2018 I know but it helps

Dense, as in yours weigh more in the had than a less dense breast of the same size. The x-ray might not like it but Iā€™m sure most of your partners did! šŸ˜

My lips are sealed.

Answer: your breasts have decided for reasons of their own to ignore all the professors, and they neglected to tell you about it.

P.S. I am glad they are clear of cancer.

I guess that they thought the brain was responsible for book learnin'.

I am very glad that they are free of cancer.

I am very glad too.

@Lorajay thank you, my friend.

What does that even mean? High tits, low tits, floppy tits - does this have anything to do with breast cancer? My wife won't even submit to these tests anymore because they seem to be more about billing than detecting cancer.

It means that the tissue in my breasts is dense, which can obscure early signs of cancer. The rest is a joke, which other people are getting. It is giving a bit of humor to a very serious subject.

My sister has been fighting breast cancer for over 25 years. She was in remission for many years, it came back about eight years ago, and she has outlived the diagnosis made then of living for another two years. She would be ecstatic if her breasts were merely "dense."

I told her the same thing that I wrote above; she thought it was funny. Some humor is an acquired taste.

I am with your wife.

@MsKathleen my sister's life was saved by a mammogram taken about 25 years ago. If not for that detection, she would have been dead about 24 years ago. However, I have never been concerned about breast cancer and have been lax in getting a mammogram. I am convinced my sister's was caused by Premarin.

@Gwendolyn2018 At 72, with zero cancers in my family tree and no history of medications that might be causal, I have no concern. Should I prove to be the exception, I will accept. My life ending would be no loss to the world.

@MsKathleen I had no true concern or I would not have waited 20 years to get one. I take no meds, but my family is riddled with cancer: my dad, uncle, and cousin all died from cancer. However, my dad also smoked unfiltered Camels for decades.
